In other words, the company will get rid of 99.75 percent of pending cases in America in exchange for this huge amount of money.

The main ingredient in Johnson’s baby powder is the mineral talc. Which is claimed as a carcinogen. In 2024, the World Health Organization listed this mineral as a possible human carcinogen. However, the organization has claimed from the beginning that there is no scientific evidence that talc causes cancer. However, the sale of talcum-based baby powder was stopped in the US in 2020 and worldwide in 2023.
