The Delhi Metro on Sunday launched a special metro themed ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ to celebrate the spirit of freedom, as part of the week-long events organised to mark India’s 80th Independence Day, the DMRC said on its social media platform X. The metro runs on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro network.

The post further states that this year, the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign celebrates the special occasion of the 150th anniversary of India’s national song, “Vande Mataram.” All citizens are encouraged to proudly hoist the national flag and participate in digital events. It is noteworthy that a nationwide Tiranga Yatra was organized and the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign was launched. The Delhi Metro has also joined the campaign.

PM Modi had started the ‘Tiranga in every house’ campaign in the year 2022.

The “Tiranga in Every Home” campaign, launched in 2022 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has now become a widespread public movement of patriotism and public participation. This year, the “Tiranga in Every Home” campaign is being run from August 9th to 17th. During this campaign, Prime Minister Modi also reposted the Ministry of Culture’s post on the social media platform “X.”

Prime Minister Modi wrote in the post, “Our tricolor is our pride and a constant inspiration to always give our best for the country. Let us enthusiastically participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and reiterate our collective resolve to contribute to building a ‘Vikas Bharat’. Glad that this year’s efforts are dedicated to ‘Vande Mataram’, and that too at a time when we are celebrating its 150th anniversary.”

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Culture, while launching the campaign’s website, “Har Ghar Tiranga.com,” said that for the past 150 years, the chant of “Vande Mataram” has stirred the nation’s soul. This Independence Day, as India unites for Tiranga Yatras, rallies, concerts, and mass singing under the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, let us bring that same spirit to every street and every home.
