Students have been protesting for the last several days regarding the JPSC-JSSC paper leak controversy in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Yesterday, students tried to surround the Jharkhand Assembly, but the police resorted to lathicharge, water cannon and tear gas shells on the students. This is the second major protest by students after the protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar regarding NEET paper leak, but the opposition leaders are not speaking or coming forward openly regarding the Jharkhand protest.
But BJP and its NDA party are now attacking Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and other opposition parties regarding this issue. Because Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders took to the streets and surrounded the government regarding the protest at Jantar Mantar. On Tuesday, NDA MP Rahul Gandhi was seen outside the Parliament raising slogans of shame. Meanwhile, Priyanka Gandhi is also seen stopping there and saying something.

In fact, on Monday, students were lathicharged by Jharkhand Police during the protest in Ranchi. Due to which now BJP and NDA are attacking the entire opposition including Rahul Gandhi. BJP and NDA say that why Rahul Gandhi, who was becoming the messiah of students in Delhi, is not going to Jharkhand now.
Regarding this, NDA MP Rahul Gandhi was raising slogans of shame outside the Parliament today. Just then Priyanka Gandhi is seen coming to the Parliament. Seeing the slogans raised, Priyanka stops there and tells the MPs that Rahul ji has spoken to the students of Jharkhand. But NDA MPs continuously raise slogans saying 'Go to Jharkhand, go to Jharkhand.'
What happened during the assembly march?
In Ranchi, a large number of students came out carrying the tricolor to gherao the assembly. To stop the protesters, the police had set up barricades and security cordon at many places. Tension increased between the police and students when some protesters tried to cross the security cordon and barricades. After this the police used lathi charge, water cannon and tear gas to control the crowd. After the news of police action came out, political parties made it an issue. BJP called for statewide 'Jharkhand Bandh' to protest against the lathicharge on students. BJP workers demonstrated in many areas including Ranchi.
What are the demands of the students?
The most prominent issue of the students is related to the investigation of alleged rigging in the JSSC-CGL examination. The protesters are demanding the investigation of this case by CBI instead of state agencies. Students say that an independent investigation is necessary to ensure transparency in the recruitment process and restore the confidence of the candidates.
