This restaurant is managed by Bollywood star Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan. It has quickly become popular among Mumbai's food lovers. Opened in 2025, this fine-dining restaurant features European-style interiors and a variety of interesting dishes.
However, besides the eye-catching decoration of the restaurant, the high price of the food has already come up in the discussion. Two of the most sought-after dishes are the Salt Crusted Red Snapper and the Truffle Pasta on Wheels. Both of these are served as 'Chef Special'. Red snapper is a special type of fish, which is coated in salt and fried in a special way. At the end of cooking, you have to eat the soft part of the fish inside by breaking it with a hard spoon covered with coarse salt. On the other hand, the pasta is served with a half-full of cheese dipped in between large rounds of cheese. The reason for the practice is only the taste of food?
Don't worry, Truffle Pasta on Wheels costs Tk 8,500. On the other hand, the Salt Crusted Red Snapper is priced at Rs 10,000, making it one of the most expensive dishes at the restaurant. Chef Dennis Cole is in charge of Mercy's kitchen.
Not only the food but also the drinks at Mersey are quite expensive. All the alcoholic beverages that customers can order here are directly imported from France. According to sources, the price of such champagne bottles is up to Rs 1,88,550 here. White wine prices start from around Rs 50,000. On the other hand, a bottle of the restaurant's most expensive red wine costs around Rs 1,40,000.
But if the customer prefers cocktails instead of alcohol, the cost will be less. Cocktail prices here are relatively low—a glass of barajo can be found between Tk 900 and Tk 1,200.
