Good news for Delhiites! Amrit Udyan will open for general public from August 16, know timing and booking details

If you like to enjoy many types of flowers including different varieties of roses, then there is good news for you. President Draupadi Murmu on Friday (August 14) announced that the Amrit Udyan located at Rashtrapati Bhavan will be opened to the general public. Let us know when Amrit Udyan will open, what are the timings to visit and how to book tickets.

**When will Amrit Udyan open?**

According to the information, Amrit Udyan will be open to the public from 16 August 2026 to 15 September 2026. One can visit here from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm; However, the last entry will be available only till 5:00 pm. This garden will remain closed every Monday due to maintenance.

**Which gate will allow entry?**

To enter Amrit Udyan, visitors have to reach Gate No. 35 of Rashtrapati Bhavan located on North Avenue Road. To visit the garden, tickets have to be booked online through the Rashtrapati Bhavan website (visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in). The thing to note is that there is no fee for these tickets.

The booking slot for any day closes at 10:00 am on the previous day. For example, if you want to visit Amrit Udyan on 16th August, you must complete your booking before 10:00 am on 15th August. It is important to note that there is no on-the-spot or offline booking facility available to visit Amrit Udyan.

**Features available during the journey**

People visiting Amrit Udyan will be able to avail various facilities. For the convenience of the visitors, facilities like drinking water stalls, first aid centres, rain shelters and toilets have been arranged along the entire route. Moreover, shuttle bus service has been arranged from Central Secretariat Metro Station for the convenience of the visitors.

These buses will have a banner written 'Shuttle to Amrit Udyan'. These shuttle buses will run every 30 minutes between Central Secretariat Metro Station and Amrit Udyan entry point from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. There is no information yet whether this bus service will be free or not.
