Save America Act : US President Donald Trump, while referring to the questions asked by India's Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, has indicated changes in the election system of his country. US President Trump wrote in a post on his social media platform Truth Social – 'Earlier this month, Chief Election Commissioner of India Gyanesh Kumar had asked our administration how elections can be held in America without a valid photo ID?' He further said- 'We now have to pass the Save America Act. Trump insisted on making the US election process more stringent. They say that this will increase the security and credibility of American elections.

Let us tell you that 'Save America Act' is a bill proposal to further tighten the rules related to voter registration and voting. Under which it will be necessary to show documentary proof of citizenship at the time of voter registration and photo ID at the time of voting. Apart from this, the bill also talks about significantly limiting the process of voting by post.

This bill has been passed by the US House of Representatives, but it has not yet been approved in the Senate. Democrats and Republicans are at loggerheads on this issue. President Trump has been continuously insisting on passing the 'Save America Act'. He claims that the passing of this bill will stop electoral fraud.
