A good news has come for the candidates who had appeared in the Tier-2 recruitment examination of the second phase of KVS and NVS to become government teachers in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) and were eagerly waiting for the release of the result.
Actually, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) have started the process of releasing the results of Tier-II recruitment examination for various teaching and non-teaching posts step by step.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday released the results of the second phase Tier-2 recruitment examination of KVS and NVS on the official website of CBSE, KVS and NVS. To check the result, candidates first visit the official website of CBSE/KVS/NVS. After going to the homepage, click on the result related link. After this a new page will open, enter the registration number, password and captcha code there. Then the result will open on your screen.
After checking the result, download it. Take a print out of the result for future reference.
The posts for which KVS-NVS Tier-2 recruitment exam results have been released by CBSE include the results of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) for PGT (Assamese), PGT (Urdu), PGT (Bengali), PGT (Garo), PGT (Bio-Technology), PGT (Manipuri), PGT (Tamil) and PGT (Telugu).
Whereas, in Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) posts, TGT (Marathi), TGT (Telugu), TGT (Assamese), TGT (Manipuri), TGT (Urdu), TGT (Bengali), TGT (Nepali), TGT (Gujarati), TGT (Odia), TGT (Kannada), TGT (Punjabi), TGT (Malayalam) and Results of (Tamil) posts have been released.
Along with this, the board has also declared the results of Assistant Engineer (Civil), Administrative Officer and Multi-Tasking Staff posts in non-teaching posts.
Candidates can check their result/shortlisting status post wise by logging into their application portal. At the same time, from the result declared in this stage, candidates will know whether they have been shortlisted for interview or not.
Candidates should note that the result of Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) Tier-II Recruitment Examination will be declared separately on the official website of EMRS/NESTS.
This recruitment process was started in 2025 and the Tier-1 exam was held on 10 and 11 January 2026. The Tier-I result was released on 28 February 2026, after which the Tier-2 exam was held from 27 to 31 March 2026 and the Tier-2 result was released on 17 and 18 August.
