Recently, US President Donald Trump claimed the 'oil artery' Strait of Hormuz as his territory. This time Iran gave its turn. Khamenei's country claimed California as their territory.
Recently the Iranian Embassy in India published a map of America on their X handle. There, California is marked in blue. It says, 'California is not part of America'. After this claim of Iran, the map 'war' of the two countries has reached its peak. But this is not a new thing. The two warring countries have been involved in map wars several times before. But why did Tehran claim only California as their territory? In fact, California has the largest number of Iranian immigrants in the world outside of Iran. Their main center is Los Angeles. 141,000 Iranian-Americans live in this city.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the US President announced the liberation of Hormuz. He said that currently there is no discussion with Iran. There is no plan to even discuss with them. The naval blockade remains in full force. Hormuz is open, active. All mines laid in the channel have also been removed. However, Iran rejected Trump's claim. They have made it clear that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until America meets Tehran's conditions. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said, “Washington's goal was to force Iran to surrender. But we will not give up. Instead, America is now begging for new talks.”
