A poor start to Sri Lanka’s second innings
Sri Lanka got off to a poor start in the second innings. Nishan Madushka was dismissed for just 6 runs. He is dismissed by Siraj. After which Manav Suthar dismissed Pasindu Suriyabandara for 14 runs. He was out for zero. After which Kamindu Mendis was dismissed by the famous Krishna A for 2 runs. Lahiru was trying to take over Udara’s position but fell victim to the human carpenter after reaching 16 runs.
India’s second innings ended with 193 runs
On the fourth day of the Galle Test between India and Sri Lanka, the second innings of the Indian team ended in 193 runs. A huge first innings lead of 178 runs gave Sri Lanka a target of 372 runs to win. Rishabh Pant scored an aggressive half-century off 53 balls, scoring a cool 66 runs. At the start of the fourth day, Yashaswi was out without opening an account. Lokesh Rahul and Devdutt Paddikal shared 65 runs off 85 balls for the second wicket. Lokesh Rahul Prabhat was dismissed for 35 runs off the bowling of Jayasuriya. Captain Gill was dismissed for just 8 runs. After which Paddical was dismissed for 44 runs. Jurail was also dismissed for 7 runs and Jadeja for 9 runs and the Indian team ended with a score of 193 runs.
