Nooreen Niazi, sister of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, met him in Adiala jail on Tuesday. This meeting, which took place after about 9 months, was approved after the order of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, in which weekly meeting between Imran Khan and his family was allowed.
Noreen discussed with Imran Khan his health, transfer to Shifa Hospital under the Supreme Court order and ongoing legal matters. The meeting lasted for about 15 minutes.
After the meeting, Noreen said that she was very happy to meet Imran Khan. She said she had also appeared before the Supreme Court and was hopeful that the court's order would be followed.
Earlier, Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi, daughter Mubashara Shaikh and sister-in-law Mehrunisa had also met him. Considering the health of Imran Khan, the Supreme Court had allowed him to meet his family and personal doctors.
