Gram flour 2 cups, sugar 1 cup, ghee 3/4 cup, milk 1/4 cup, saffron 2 pinch, dry fruits 4 tbsp
How to make Mohanthal Sweets?
- first step: To make Mohanthal sweets, first take two cups of gram flour. Now filter it thoroughly through a fine sieve. To make this sweet, very fine gram flour is required.
- Second step: Now turn on the gas and keep the pan on the gas and let it heat slightly. Place a pan on it. Now add half ghee in it and add finely ground gram flour and stir well. Fry the gram flour on low flame, so that it gets cooked well.
- Third step: When the gram flour starts turning light red, add the remaining ghee to it and fry it well. After that add milk and cardamom and fry till it turns brown.
- Fourth step: Now, make one string syrup and then add the syrup to the gram flour and mix well. Now place butter paper in a tin box and spread the gram flour mixture well over it.
- Fifth step: Now, add chopped dry fruits on top and keep it to set for three to four hours. After the stipulated time, take it out from the box and cut it into the shape of your choice.
