Lucknow. The Uttar Pradesh government is preparing to increase the scope of health facilities for women and other employees working in rural areas. The government has given instructions to prepare a proposal to provide cashless medical facilities to women associated with self-help groups, rural employment mission workers, employment servants and other rural level workers.
Benefits to women of self-help groups
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, in the review meeting of the Rural Development Department, asked the concerned officials to prepare a proposal for the expansion of this facility. This can help a large number of women associated with self-help groups to reduce the financial burden during treatment. However, the final form and eligibility of the facility will be clear after the proposal and government decision.
Preparation for recruitment on vacant posts also
In the meeting, information about vacant posts in various departments and institutions related to rural development was also taken. Officials were instructed to send the requisition for vacant posts to the concerned Recruitment Commission soon, so that there is no unnecessary delay in the recruitment process. Emphasis was also laid on timely resolution of EPF related problems of employment servants.
Housing and village schemes accelerated
The government has asked to speed up the process of providing housing to eligible families under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural and Chief Minister Awas Yojana. Along with this, instructions have been given to organize Village Chaupal regularly and submit its progress report every Friday.
