IND vs SL: Sri Lanka's difficulties are not decreasing in the Test series against India. In the first test match played at Galle International Stadium, Sri Lanka had to face defeat against India by 165 runs. Now immediately after this defeat, Sri Lanka has suffered a double blow. Actually, Sri Lanka's two star batsmen Kusal Mendis and Dinesh Chandimal have been ruled out of the second test match against India to be played in Colombo. At the same time, Pathum Nissanka is also finding it difficult to play. Sri Lankan head coach Gary Kirsten gave an update on the three players. He told that Dinesh Chandimal, who was out in the middle of the Galle Test, will not be able to play in the second Test match due to ICC rules. Let us tell you that Sri Lanka had earlier announced its squad only for the Galle Test. Now Sri Lanka's squad for the second test is yet to be announced.
Kusal Mendis has not yet recovered from hamstring injury.
Kusal Mendis got injured in the initial round of Lanka Premier League. He had an injury in his hamstring, after which he is out of the field. Niroshan Dickwella was included in the Sri Lankan squad in his place in the first Test. Dickwella had also scored 80 runs in the first innings of the Galle Test. In such a situation, it is considered certain that Dickwella will play in the second match to be held in Colombo also. Whereas Kusal Mendis has not yet fully recovered from his hamstring injury.
ICC's rule became a hindrance on Dinesh Chandimal's play
Dinesh Chandimal got injured while fielding in the Galle Test. He suffered a head injury, after which he was out of the match. Now Chandimal is automatically out of the second Test match, because according to ICC rules, if a player is out of the middle of the match due to a head injury (concussion), then he cannot return to the field for 7 days.
After Dinesh Chandimal was out of the match on the fourth day of the Galle Test, Pasindu Suriyabandara got a chance to debut in his place. Although he was out on zero in the first innings.

Pathum Nissanka is still recovering from injury
Whereas Pathum Nissanka had wrist surgery in June, from which he is still recovering. It is believed that he may be fit before Mendis, but he is still having trouble batting. In such a situation, it is considered certain that he will be out of the second test.
Sri Lankan coach Kirsten gave update on the fitness of the three players.
After losing the first Test match against India, Sri Lankan team head coach Gary Kirsten was asked about the availability of these three players, in response to which he said that Kusal Mendis is not available right now due to a hamstring injury. Dinesh is also not available for the second test. If we look, some of our players are not in the team, but there is a great opportunity for the young players who have been performing brilliantly in domestic cricket for the last few years to present their claim.
