Taylor Swift has quietly stepped up her Emmy campaign, appearing at an intimate Los Angeles event where she opened up about The Eras Tour: The Final Show.
On Wednesday, August 19, the 36-year-old pop sensation joined The Eras Tour: The Final Show director Glenn Weiss, where she reflected on how the tour became a source of “great escapism” for fans.
No photos of Swift emerged from the private gathering, which was attended by roughly 50 guests under a no-media and no-recording policy.
“One of the things that I was so impressed by, and the needle Glenn threaded so effortlessly, is that the Eras Tour was such a phenomenon because of so many factors but one that I know that is really important is that it was a source of great escapism for the people who were there,” the 14-time Grammy winner said, according to Deadline.
Swift further noted how Weiss was so successful in capturing every detail of her headline-grabbing tour to help create a magical experience for fans.
“Glenn created a situation where the fans could be lost in the moment because of the rehearsals that he did with our dancers and me leading into the final show,” she remarked.
