He has become the first Asian and Indian cricketer to play 50 matches in the history of the World Test Championship. 37 year old Indian veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja made his Test debut in the year 2012. Since then, he has consistently performed brilliantly for India in almost every World Test Championship cycle. In his 50 matches played so far in WTC, he has scored 2675 runs and taken 160 wickets. During the 2019-21 cycle, he scored 500 runs in 11 matches and took 29 wickets.
Apart from this, in the 2021-23 cycle, he performed brilliantly in 13 matches, scoring 721 runs and taking 47 wickets. In 15 matches of the third cycle of WTC 2023-25, he scored 664 runs and took 55 wickets. In the current cycle, he has played 11 matches so far, in which he has scored more than 700 runs and taken 29 wickets.
