Mayawati Election Strategy: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president Mayawati has made clear the party's strategy for the upcoming elections. BSP will contest elections on its own in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab without forming an alliance with any party. Mayawati gave this information by sharing a press release on social media platform X. The party has resolved to achieve better election results in these three states.
Mayawati said that along with the election preparations, the party organization will be further strengthened at the grassroots level. In the selection of candidates, emphasis will be given on giving priority to hardworking, honest and active people among the public. The aim of the party is to field such candidates who have strong connections between the organization and the public.
Important decisions were taken in the long meeting held in Lucknow
On behalf of BSP, it was told that a long meeting was held with senior officials of the organization at the party office in Lucknow. In this meeting, the strategy for the upcoming elections, strengthening the organization and expanding the party's support base were discussed in detail.
It was decided in the meeting that the process of selection of candidates in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand will be kept transparent. In Punjab, the party will pay special attention to further strengthening its support base. Along with this, the strategy to strengthen the organization up to the booth level was also discussed.
Mayawati called upon the officials and workers to engage in election preparations with full strength. He said that it is important to keep the morale of the party workers high and the organization will have to move forward with complete unity.
BSP will increase its base in Punjab
Mayawati also clarified the party's strategy regarding Punjab. He said that BSP will strengthen its organization and support base in the state. The party will endeavor to firmly place the issues of Bahujan Samaj and Ambedkarite ideology among the people of Punjab.
He told the workers that the party will have to increase contact with the public on a large scale in Punjab. For this, a plan will be worked on to activate the organization up to village, assembly and booth level.
Kanshiram Jayanti organized across the country on 9th October
In the meeting, a decision was also taken to celebrate the birth anniversary of BSP founder Kanshi Ram on a large scale across the country. Various programs will be organized by the party on 9 October. Through these programs, emphasis will be laid on spreading Kanshi Ram's ideas and Ambedkarite movement to the public.
BSP said that taking forward the ideas of Kanshi Ram is one of the priorities of the party. Party workers have been asked to make preparations to organize birth anniversary programs on a large scale.
Public Welfare Day on 15 January 2027
A special program will also be organized by the party on Mayawati's birthday, 15 January 2027. It has been decided to celebrate it as 'Public Welfare Day'. During this period, a target has been set to garner financial support from the society.
According to the party, this cooperation will be used to propagate Ambedkarite ideology and strengthen the movement of BSP. There was also discussion in the meeting to make this event more comprehensive than last year.
Appeal to workers to stay away from rumors
During the meeting, Mayawati appealed to party officials and workers not to pay attention to rumours. He said that the organization has to move forward strongly while focusing on its goal.
Mayawati made it clear that BSP will contest elections on its own in Punjab along with Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. He called upon the workers to put full force into the election preparations and strengthen the organization up to the booth level.
Under this strategy of BSP, the party will now give priority to organization expansion, selection of candidates and public relations at the grassroots level in the three states. In the coming time, the party will intensify its election preparations in these states.
