Lucknow. Before the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Samajwadi Party has made a big announcement for women voters. 'Stree Samman Samriddhi Yojana' will be started if Samajwadi Party government is formed in UP. Announcing this scheme, MP Dimple Yadav said that women will be given Rs 40 thousand annually if the government is formed. Through this scheme, women will be made financially strong and self-reliant.

On this occasion, SP President Akhilesh Yadav said that the progress of the country and society is incomplete without the progress of half the population. The decisions of his government have always been important for the respect, safety and economic empowerment of women. Referring to 'Stree Samman Samriddhi Yojana', he said that there is a resolve to provide complete freedom to half the population. Under the scheme, women will be given Rs 40 thousand every year and this amount will also be increased in future.
He said that, when the Samajwadi government was in the state, work was done to connect the youth with technology by giving them laptops. In such a situation, if the SP government is formed, there is a plan to give laptops to the daughters who pass Intermediate in future also. Also, there will be no compromise on women's safety. Taking aim at BJP, Akhilesh Yadav said that for BJP, women have become just a political slogan. She also raised the demand for implementing women's reservation in the next elections and providing better facilities for women.
Akhilesh Yadav said that the most injustice is being done to half the population in Uttar Pradesh. Referring to the 102 ambulance service started during the SP government, he also raised questions on the current system. Samajwadi Party will work to remove the feeling of insecurity of women and provide complete freedom to half the population.
