The Women’s Asia Cup 2026 will bring together eight teams in Dubai from August 28 to September 13, with the continent’s leading sides competing for the T20 title. The tournament will feature India, defending champion Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia.
India will enter the competition looking to reclaim the trophy after losing the 2024 final to Sri Lanka, which secured its maiden Women’s Asia Cup title. The Indian squad will be among the tournament’s most closely watched, with the team aiming to begin its campaign strongly and build towards another deep run in the competition.
Sri Lanka, meanwhile, will seek to defend the title it won two years ago, while Pakistan and Bangladesh will look to challenge the established order. For Thailand, Hong Kong, China, the UAE and Indonesia, the tournament offers an opportunity to test themselves against some of Asia’s strongest teams on a major stage.
