Now pensioners will not wander, new digital system will be implemented in Jharkhand from September 1

At the time of retirement, the hassle of pension papers and the compulsion of visiting offices is going to end. The state government has taken a big decision to make the pension process completely transparent, easy and quick. upcoming 1st September From now onwards, every process related to pension in the state will be handled through digital signature based e-Portal.

In fact, till now all the work related to approval and payment of pension was done with the help of files and paper documents only. Because of this, many times the files of retired employees remained stuck on different tables for months. To root out this delay and chaos finance department (Finance Department) has issued an order to implement this online system compulsorily.

Strict instructions to all departments and District Deputy Commissioners

Jyoti Jha, Joint Secretary of the Finance Department, has issued a letter to strictly implement this decision in the state administrative system. This official order is for all the Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Heads of Departments and Districts of the State. Deputy Commissioners (Deputy Commissioners).

The government has made it clear that under this new system, the functioning of every level related to pension approval has already been decided. Principal Accountant General Office, Directorate of Pension and Accounts All treasury and sub-treasury officers of the state including the Directorate of Pension and Accounts have also been instructed to make complete preparations as per the new guidelines.

Digital signatures will be registered on 'J-Kuber' portal

'J-Kuber' portal will form the backbone of this entire new system. It has been made mandatory for Withdrawal and Disbursement Officers i.e. DDOs and competent pension sanctioning authorities to register Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) on J-Kuber.

A complete technical user manual on how to use digital signatures during online processing of pension forms and XML data has also been provided to the officials. To avoid any confusion among the employees and officers, information about the entire process has also been uploaded on the departmental website.

The intention of the government is clear that after the implementation of this digital system, the employee can get his pension entitlement on the very day of retirement without any unnecessary delay.
