New Delhi. Today, on the holy festival of Rakshabandhan, Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Verma met the saints of BAPS. During this, a blessed Rakhi was presented to the Governor on behalf of the spiritual guru of BAPS, Mahant Swami Maharaj. Tirthaswarup Swami of the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in Mumbai tied a Rakhi containing blessings on behalf of Mahant Swami Maharaj to Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Verma and conveyed Swamishree's blessings to him.
Governor Jishnu Dev accepted the blessings of Mahant Swami Maharaj with great joy. He expressed his warm wishes and respect towards Mahant Swami Maharaj. During the meeting, Governor Jishnu Dev Verma highly appreciated the spiritual and humanitarian initiatives of BAPS and also praised the valuable services of the organization for the welfare of the society.
