Shamli. Two accused in the murder of Haryanvi singer Ankit Balyan have been identified. According to media reports, Shamli Police has identified Satyam and Aryan Mann among the accused involved in the murder of Ankit Baliyan. A photo of both of them sitting on a bike has also come. Both are residents of Karnal, Haryana. Quoting police sources, it has been told in the media report that two more accused in the murder of Ankit Balyan are residents of Rohtak, Haryana. The name of the accused riding the bike is Satyam. Shamli police has formed 10 teams to search for the killers of Ankit Baliyan.
According to reports, raids are being conducted in Haryana to arrest the accused in the murder of Ankit Baliyan. The murder accused have switched off their mobile phones. Due to which the police is facing difficulty in tracking them. Singer Ankit Balyan was shot at by four miscreants riding on two bikes on the morning of 26th August in Shamli, UP. After this the killers fled from the spot. While absconding, the accused of murder of Ankit Baliyan were also seen talking on the phone in the CCTV footage. Ankit Balyan's dead body was blocked by the family members by keeping it on the road. After which ADG Bhanu Bhaskar had assured the family that the killers would be arrested in four days.
On August 27, the next day after the murder of singer Ankit Baliyan, Bholu Shahpuria, associated with the Gogi gang, had posted on social media. Bholu had taken responsibility for Ankit's murder. He had written in the post that Ankit Balyan used to support our enemies. Ankit had composed a song on the incident that happened with Gogi Bhai. He got the result for this. Bholu Shahpuria had also written in the post that whoever helps our enemies will be given the same fate as Ankit. On the other hand, Ankit's wife has said that if the killers are not caught, she will commit suicide along with her family members. Because of this, the police is trying at all costs to arrest the killers.
