Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh has also been affected by swine flu (H1N1). According to KGMU spokesperson Dr. KK Singh, the minister had fever for the last four-five days. When tested, his report came back H1N1 positive.
According to doctors, the symptoms of swine flu in the minister are mild at present. His condition is said to be normal and he is undergoing treatment at home.
Swine flu cases are continuously being reported in the state. So far, H1N1 infection has been confirmed in 685 patients in Uttar Pradesh. The Health Department is emphasizing on monitoring and prevention measures regarding infection.
