After almost two decades, a big update has officially come out regarding the second part of the film. This news has been confirmed by film producer Sajid Nadiadwala himself. As soon as the news of the sequel came out, the excitement among Akshay Kumar and the old fans of the film has increased.
In fact, on September 3, Sajid Nadiadwala welcomed New South Wales Premier Chris Minns to his office in Mumbai. He shared pictures of this meeting on social media. Meanwhile, he told that a deal has been signed for the shooting of three films in Australia. The special thing is that these three films also include the sequel of Hey Baby. The first part of Hey Baby was also shot in Australia.
Hey Baby was released in the year 2007 and it featured Akshay Kumar along with Fardeen Khan and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead roles. The film was directed by Sajid Khan. The story revolves around three bachelor friends whose lives change completely when a little girl arrives at their doorstep. Later it is revealed that one of the three is the father of the girl.
In the beginning, the three friends avoid taking responsibility for the girl, but gradually their relationship with the innocent girl deepens. The emotional story along with comedy won the hearts of the audience. Vidya Balan was in the female lead role in the film while Shahrukh Khan did a cameo.
Now the announcement of Hey Baby 2 has raised the biggest question regarding its starcast. Fans want the old cast to be brought back in the sequel.
