Bulandshahr. A video of former MLA Shri Bhagwan Sharma alias Guddu Pandit assaulting his third wife and Congress leader Archana Panda in Bulandshahr district of UP has surfaced. In the video, Guddu Pandit is seen pulling Archana's hair, dragging her on the ground and beating her.

After the fight, Archana has complained to the police against the former MLA. Archana has demanded deployment of women policemen 24 hours, citing threat to her life and that of her son Samar. The matter pertains to Archana Panda's residence near the Old RTO office on Shikarpur Bypass Road.

On Friday, Congress leader Archana Panda lodged a complaint against her husband former MLA Guddu Pandit at Shikarpur police station. Archana told that on Thursday she was present in the house with her son Samar Pandit. It is alleged that former MLA Guddu Pandit suddenly reached his house and started shouting loudly while banging the door.
As soon as Archana opened the door, Guddu Pandit pushed her hard, due to which she fell on the floor. After this, Guddu Pandit dragged him by his hair and beat him. Hearing Archana's scream, the house servant reached the spot and started recording the video of the entire incident from his mobile. Seeing the video being made, former MLA Guddu Pandit stepped back, after which Archana somehow saved her life and ran towards the road and informed the police.

There is pressure to withdraw the case, child's life is in danger
Congress leader Archana Panda has submitted a complaint letter to the police demanding strict legal action against the accused and safety of her family. Archana alleges that the former MLA and his family are continuously giving death threats to her and her innocent son.
He made it clear that many cases are pending in the court against the former MLA. She will not withdraw the cases pending in the court at any cost. Stating that there is a threat to his life and that of his son Samar, he has demanded deployment of women policemen 24 hours a day.

According to officials, a family dispute has been going on between the two for a long time. Archana Panda has previously been the National General Secretary of Mahila Sabha of Samajwadi Party (SP) and recently took membership of Congress in Lucknow, where she has been made the State Vice President of Uttar Pradesh Congress.
Guddu Pandit's first wife's name is Kajal Sharma and second wife's name is Sheetal, while Archana Panda is said to be his third wife. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, CO City Prakhar Pandey said that a complaint letter has been received from the victim. The entire matter and the viral video are being investigated thoroughly. Based on whatever facts emerge in the investigation, strict legal action will be taken against the accused.
