Punjab News: The government has given a big assurance regarding the welfare and job security of the forest employees. Forest and Wildlife Conservation Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak said that forest employees have an important place in the welfare agenda of the state government. He clearly said that no employee will be fired from the job and the job security of the employees is the priority of the government.

In the meeting held with the Democratic Forest Employees Union, Punjab in Chandigarh, the Minister listened carefully to the various demands of the employees. He said that the legitimate demands of the employees will be raised at higher levels of the government and appropriate efforts will be made to resolve them.

Action will also be taken on the demands of field workers

During the meeting, the field workers of the forest department demanded to include their work in the category of dangerous work. On this, Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak said that he will raise this matter at higher levels of the government.

Employees working on the field in the Forest Department have to face many challenges. In such a situation, considering the nature of their work, this demand of the employees has been said to be considered by the government.

The minister assured the employees in the meeting that no employee will be fired from the job. He said that the state government is fully committed to ensuring job security of the employees.

Along with this, he also made it clear that any work currently going on will not be given on contract. Forest Department employees are expected to get relief from this assurance of the government.

1,458 forest employees were regularized

Lal Chand Kataruchak said that the Punjab Government has so far not 1,458 employees regularized Have done. These were regularized this year 516 employees and regularized last year 942 employees Are included.

The minister said that the state government has provided more than 70,000 jobs so far. According to him, all these jobs are given on the basis of merit. He described this as an example of the employee friendly attitude of the government.
