Isha Rikhi opened up about the emotional toll of her separation from singer Badshah during the grand premiere of Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 20. Although she did not mention Badshah by name, the actor spoke about how the experience left her heartbroken, while Salman encouraged her to move forward and focus on the present.
In her introduction video, Isha looked back at her time working in Bollywood and Punjabi cinema, calling it the best phase of her life. However, she said everything changed after she fell in love and began thinking about marriage and settling down.
“After that I fell in love. I felt that this is what I was looking for, not a green flag but a green forest. I wanted to get married and settle down. So I tried really hard. But a few experiences change you,” she said.
Opening up about the impact of the separation, Isha added, “When your trust is broken, you come to such a stage where you think about what I did wrong. And whatever I faced, it broke me. I don't want to talk about it. I didn't understand, when I became a side character in my story.”
Despite the difficult experience, Isha said she does not regret her past. She explained that she joined Bigg Boss 20 to step out of the shadows and build an identity of her own.
“But I don’t regret anything. I’m coming to Bigg Boss so that I can step out of the shadows and create an identity of my own. And my aim will be to come out of the show as the winner,” she said.
When Isha met Salman Khan on the premiere stage, the host praised her strength and offered her some advice. Consoling her, he said, “Sabke breakup hote hain, tum kiske saamne khadi ho” (Everyone goes through breakups. Who do you think you’re standing in front of?).
Salman also reminded her to keep personal matters private and focus on her future. “Humare personal masle personal hi rehne chahiye. Agli party has moved on long time ago. So nobody should get the right to hurt you emotionally. Present mein concentrate karo. Competitors pe focus karo,” he said.
With her entry into Bigg Boss 20, Isha appears determined to leave her past behind and establish herself on her own terms.
