Ameesha Patel, who has chosen to remain unmarried, did not hold back from slamming an internet user after they romantically linked her with Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya.
In an X post shared on Sunday, September 6, a user shared a viral video featuring the duo, with the 50-year-old actress seen with her hand on the 32-year-old all-rounder’s shoulder as the two exchanged smiles while she introduced him to her pals.
“The way Ameesha Patel put her hand on Hardik Pandya’s shoulder during the party at a hotel in Bengaluru. All the Reddit rumours seem to be coming true,” the caption read.
Shortly after, Patel took a brutal swipe at the netizen for linking her with Pandya, noting that he might not even have a female friend if he was unable to fathom their interaction.
“So true ya. My god ur correct…truly romantic way my hand was on him. I don’t know u but surely u don’t have a girl even as a friend. It’s time u do have one before posting hence on such things,” she wrote via Instagram Stories while sharing a screenshot of the viral X post.
Ameesha Patel’s stance on marriage
In an appearance on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast last year, the Humraaz star shed light on her views on marriage, revealing that she has not ruled it out and wants a partner who would unwaveringly support her acareer.
“I am all up for marriage, as long as I find someone worthy. They say that ‘Where there is a will, there is a way,’ so the person who finds me through everything and mauke par chauka maarlege (takes advantage of the situation) will be my person. I still get all kinds of proposals from a lot of well-to-do families. People half my age want to take me out on a date, and I am open to it because a man has to be mentally mature. I have met a lot of people older than me who have the IQ of a fly,” she explained.
Hardik Pandya’s personal life
The cricket star and model Mahieka Sharma are currently in a relationship. The pair were first linked after being spotted together, fuelling dating speculation in October 2025.
Hardik Pandya previously tied the knot with Natasha Stankovic in an intimate ceremony in 2020. After several years of marriage, the couple announced their separation in 2024. They have continued to co-parent their six-year-old son, Agastya.
