Singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh recently performed in Italy, winning hearts with his popular songs and energetic performance. During the concert, the singer noticed a fan wearing a T-shirt featuring his name alongside 'I Onkar'. He politely corrected the fan, explaining that the sacred phrase should not be associated with his name. Diljit Dosanjh is one of India’s most versatile and talented singers, who has earned immense recognition on the global stage. Recently, the singer performed in Italy, winning hearts with his energetic stage presence and powerful performance.
During the concert, Diljit invited an international fan on stage and interacted with him. However, he politely corrected the fan after noticing that his name was written alongside ‘Ik Onkar’ on his customised T-shirt. The fan had arrived on stage wearing the personalised T-shirt featuring both ‘Ik Onkar’ and Diljit’s name. He was also accompanied by a female friend during the interaction.

When Diljit spotted the text on his fan’s T-shirt, he explained why 'I Onkar' and his name should never be placed together. “This is God… This is very special… and my name together, no, no,” he said. He later turned to the crowd and defended the fan.

The singer appealed to everyone to forgive his fan. “I respect your feelings. I don't understand, please forgive me please (He didn’t know, please forgive him). But I respect you… I am proud, all my people are one (To me, everyone is one),” he added.
After Diljit’s fan club shared this video on Instagram, the fan took to the comment section and apologised. “It was an unexpected and surreal moment. I didn’t realize Diljit’s name was so close to the ੴ symbol when making the shirt. I didn’t mean any harm, actually ੴ means a lot to me since I’ve regularly visited the Gurudwara. My apologies for any trouble I created…,” the singer’s fan expressed.

On the work front, Diljit was last seen in Satluj. Based on the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, the film had a delayed release on ZEE5. However, within a few hours of its OTT premiere, the movie was removed from the streaming platform. Before this, Diljit appeared in Main Vaapas Aaunga, alongside Vedang Raina and Sharvari. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film was released theatrically on June 12. It faced competition at the box office from Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata and Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past. The actor continues to have several projects in his upcoming lineup.
