According to media reports, the current basic pay of a Level 8 employee under the 7th Pay Commission is Rs 47,600. So, if the fitment factor of 2.15 is considered in the 8th Pay Commission, then his initial basic pay will be Rs 1,02,340. Actually, the effect of increment every year is also added to the basic pay.
