New Delhi, 13 September 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today welcomed the leaders of BRICS partner countries on the second and final day of the 18th BRICS Summit at 'Bharat Mandapam' in New Delhi. These leaders include Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan and United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
Following the collective photo session, the leaders are now participating in a plenary session on 'Building for sustainability, innovation, collaboration and sustainability: shaping the future for inclusive global growth'. The ten partner countries of BRICS include Belarus, Bolivia, Kazakhstan, Cuba, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Uganda, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
After the conclusion of the session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold bilateral meetings with the Presidents of Kazakhstan, Philippines, Egypt, South Africa and Burundi. Apart from this, he will also meet the Vice Presidents of Nigeria and Uganda. This summit is being organized under the chairmanship of India and its main theme is 'building for sustainability, innovation, collaboration and sustainability'.
