Seva Sankalp Abhiyan: Start of bike journey from four holy places of the state to Vadnagar

  • A total of 500 BJP workers with 250 bikes will reach Vadnagar as per the route divided into four contingents.

Gandhinagar, September 13, 2026 – Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi is going to complete 25 years of continuous service and dedication in public life including 12 years as the Prime Minister of the country and 13 years as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. To celebrate this glorious occasion with the resolve of public service and public relations, the 'Vadnagar to Varanasi' bike yatra being organized under the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party, was launched today. On September 13, four bike yatras have started carrying holy water from four holy places of the state, Somnath, Unai Mata Temple, Shamlaji and Pavagadh. A total of 500 BJP workers with 250 bikes, divided into four contingents, will reach Vadnagar on September 16 as per the route.

During these Chareya Yatras, BJP workers will pass through various rural and urban areas and interact with the citizens and will broaden their resolve for service, organization and public relations. According to the plan of the organization, state BJP officials, state government ministers, MPs, MLAs and BJP leaders will also participate in various stages of the yatra to boost the enthusiasm of the workers.

These Chareya Bike Yatras will not only be a journey but will also be a journey of public participation strengthening the resolve to serve and the public relations. Through the programs organized at various stages of the Yatra, village meetings, welcome programs and interactions with citizens, Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi's 25 years of service and resolve for nation building will be conveyed to the people.

The details of the route of Chareya Bike Yatra is as follows.

1. Somnath to Vadnagar:

Ta. The bike yatra will start from Somnath on 13th September and reach Gondal via Kidivav, Keshod, Junagadh, Wadal and Veerpur; Ta. On 14 September, from Gondal we will reach Sarangpur via Atkot, Jasdan, Vinchhiya, Phaliyaad and Targada; Ta. On 15th September, we will reach Pirana from Sarangpur via Barwala, Dhandhuka, Dholka and Saroda and Ta. On September 16, from Pirana, it will reach Vadnagar via Telv, Sanand, Khoda, Becharaji, Mehsana and Savla.

2. Unai Mata Mandir to Vadnagar:

The yatra starting from Unai Mata Temple will proceed via Dolvan, Jesingpura, Vyara, Jakhari, Songadh, Tochhe Mada and Mandvi. Statue of Unity will be reached on 14th September via Jhankhavav, Chaswad, Netrang, Rajpipla and Kevadiya. On 15th September, we will reach Vadtal from Statue of Unity via Tilakwara, Dabhoi, Kelanpur, Vasand and Chikhodara. On 16th September, from Vadtal via Jetalpur, Adalaj, Saij, Shobhasan, Mansa, Kada and Visnagar, we will reach Vadnagar in the evening.

3. Shamlaji to Vadnagar:

The journey that started from Shamlaji will reach Ambaji via Gholwani, Bhiloda, Kishangarh, Muleti Patiya, Badoli village, Kukadia, Shapawada, Idar, Wadali and Khedbrahma. On 14th September, Ambaji will reach Tharad via Jalotra, Palanpur, Chandisar, Deesa, Lakhni and Agathala. On the third day, from Tharad we will reach Patan via Sisodhra, Radhanpur, Baspa, Sarwal, Adiya and Kungher. On the last day, from Patan via Kamliwada, Sidhpur, Brahmanwada, Kansa and Visnagar, we will reach Vadnagar in the evening.

4. Pavagadh to Vadnagar:

The yatra starting from Pavagadh will reach Dakor via Halol, Magharwas Chokadi, Kalol, Khadki Gram Panchayat, Godhra, Sevaliya, Balasinor, Wangharili and Thasra. On 14th September, we will reach Kapadvanj from Dakor via Umreth, Samarkha, Anand, Vidyanagar, Karamsad, Bandhani four roads, Nadiad, Mahudha and Kathlal. On 15th September, we will reach Himmatnagar from Kapadvanj via Byad, Ankrud, Dhansura, Aniyoor, Malpur, Faredi, Modasa, Ranasan, Prantij and Hajipura. On 16th September, after reaching Visnagar from Himmatnagar via Derol and Vijapur, it will reach Vadnagar at 3 pm.

After the Chareya Yatras reach Vadnagar on 16th September, this holy water will reach the historical land of Vadnagar, and a part of it will be consecrated to Haatkeshwar Mahadev. And the other part will be included in Sharmishtha Lake. Which will give special spiritual and emotional significance to this yatra related to the birthplace of Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi. Later, taking the holy water of Sharmishtha lake, 500 BJP workers along with 250 bikes will reach Varanasi from Vadnagar on different routes where this holy water will be consecrated to Kashi Vishwanath Mahadev.
