ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL) has successfully commissioned the first phase of its 300 MW solar power project in Rajasthan. The company commissioned this phase with a capacity of 66.68 MW on 12 September 2026.
This project has been developed through the company’s subsidiary ACME Renewtech Private Limited. The solar plant is located in Kelan village of Chhattargarh tehsil of Bikaner district of Rajasthan.
The commercial operation date (COD) for the first phase has been set for September 14, 2026. The company’s presence in Rajasthan is expected to further strengthen once the entire 300 MW capacity of the project is commissioned.
Company’s capacity will increase with 300 MW project
Bikaner is included in the major solar energy areas of the country. In such a situation, the entire 300 MW project is considered important for ACME Solar’s renewable energy portfolio.
The company has a portfolio of solar as well as wind, hybrid and Firm & Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) projects. Its projects are spread in 10 states of the country.
ACME Solar’s business is also based on long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). Generally, the duration of these agreements is about 25 years and there is a provision for sale of electricity on the basis of fixed tariff. This can help the company achieve stable revenues in the long run.
