A shocking case has come to light from Khandwa district, which will surely blow your mind. A man accused of abusing a girl in his youth has been caught by the police after nearly 40 years. After the arrest, when questioned about his arrest, the accused said that he did not remember which woman he had abused. The accused is now 64 years old. This clearly shows that one enjoys the fruits of one’s actions, whether good or bad, even if the results take time.
According to the Moghat Road Police, in 1986 a woman filed a case of molestation against Ashok Kumar, son of Popsingh alias Pappu, a resident of Sanjay Nagar. At that time Ashok was about 24 years old. The police arrested him and produced him in the court. He was later granted bail, but did not appear in court thereafter. Due to his continued absence, the court issued a permanent warrant against him. After this, the Moghat Road Police launched a search for the accused.
When the police checked his old hideouts, they found that he had a cutting shop in Jalebi Chowk, but it was closed. The police then went to his house in Sanjay Nagar, which was also locked. Meanwhile, TI Vikas Khinchi and Head Constable Rafiq Khan received information from an informer that Ashok Kumar was living in a sugarcane threshing shop near the bus stand. Acting on information, a police team arrives and arrests Ashok. He was later produced in court, from where he was sent to jail.
According to the police, Ashok was around 24 years old at the time of the crime. Forty years later, he is now 64 years old. His appearance and behavior changed significantly during this period. However, the police confirmed his identity based on information received from an informer and family members. During interrogation, the accused told the police that he did not remember the previous incident. He also said that he did not remember which girl he molested. According to the police, the accused also suffers from amnesia.
