Lucknow. Farmers of Western Uttar Pradesh and Chaudharys of many Khaps met Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow today. On this occasion, National Secretary of Samajwadi Party and former Cabinet Minister Rajendra Chaudhary and State President Shyam Lal Pal were present. While talking to the farmers, Akhilesh Yadav said that Samajwadi Party is the farmers' own party. The 2027 assembly elections are very important for the farmers. This election is the election of the future of the farmers. He said that the BJP government has betrayed the farmers in ten years. Under this government, farmers were never able to get fertilizers and seeds on time. Commissioning and profiteering are at their peak in the BJP government. When farmers need fertilizer, the fertilizer disappears. When a farmer asks for fertiliser, this government runs away with sticks. The plight of farmers worsened under the BJP government. Middlemen dominate. Farmers are not getting the right price for their crops. The basic character of BJP is anti-farmer. BJP always neglected the farmers.

He said that if the Samajwadi Party forms the government in 2027, the sugarcane price will be paid to the farmers within 24 hours. Farmers will be given ample electricity. There will be proper arrangements for fertiliser, seeds, water and irrigation. Farmers will not have to wander for fertilizer. Farmers will be given remunerative prices for their crops. Treatment of farmers will be free. He said that farmers should get the benefits of ethanol. Akhilesh Yadav said that development of villages will be given priority in the Samajwadi Party government. Decisions will be taken in the interest of farmers. Farmers are paramount for Samajwadi Party. In the previous governments of Samajwadi Party, big decisions were taken in the interest of farmers. Which the farmers are remembering even today.
During this, the farmers said that they have faith in Akhilesh Yadav. He is familiar with the problems of agriculture and farming families. During his tenure as Chief Minister, he had increased the budget for agriculture. All facilities were given to the farmers. Representatives of all Khap farmers pledged that they will make united efforts to make Akhilesh Yadav the Chief Minister by giving majority to Samajwadi Party in the 2027 assembly elections.
On this occasion, Chaudhary Virendra Pradhan of Budhana Muzaffarnagar presented a plow to National President Akhilesh Yadav. The farmers of Baghpat presented with their hookah.
