Auraiya. Thieves broke the lock of a house in Ajitmal Kotwali area on Monday night and stole about one quintal of mustard. The family reached the house on Tuesday morning and found the lock of the main door broken and things inside lying in disarray. After the incident, a broken box was also found in the field behind the house.

Shahbazpur resident Yogendra Singh has two houses. One house is in village Shahbazpur, while the other is located on Amavata Road between Pratappur and Shahbazpur. The family lives in the house on Amavata Road during the day and closes it at night and goes to their house in Shahbazpur.
Even on Monday night, Yogendra Singh had locked the house and gone to Shahbazpur. When he returned for duty at Kanha International School on Tuesday morning, he found the lock of the main door broken.
Thieves took away about one quintal of mustard
When we went inside the house, the belongings were scattered. Upon investigation it was found that about one quintal of mustard kept there was missing. After this, a search was carried out in the surrounding area and a broken box was found lying in the field behind the house.
It is suspected that after taking out the items from the box, the thieves threw them in the field. At present, information is being collected from the surrounding area after the theft incident.
