The Congress Party had started a National Talent Hunt program last year. Now new teams have been formed in Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh with the people coming out of this program. Regarding these teams formed by including a large number of people, Congress hopes that these people will strengthen the party in the media. In these, appointments have been made to posts like spokesperson, researcher and media coordinator. It also includes people who are not already members of the party. Congress has said that when the media bodies of all the states are formed then the National Media Body will be announced.

 

This entire campaign is being run under the supervision of Congress Working Committee member, Rajya Sabha MP and head of the party's media and publicity department, Pawan Kheda. Now in the statement issued by Pawan Kheda, it has been said that the diversity of India is visible in these teams and all types of voices have been given a chance in it.

What is the talent hunt program of Congress?

Congress had started a talent hunt program last year, its objective was to identify people who understand the values ​​of the Constitution, justice and democracy and are committed to protecting it. Applications were also invited for this. There were three posts mentioned in this application. One spokesperson, second research coordinator and third publicity coordinator. The main emphasis in this was on the selection of such people who could strongly represent the Congress as spokespersons.

After the National Talent Hunt Programme, such programs were also run at the state level. Things like interaction with media, ability to debate, understanding of Congress ideology and digital presence have been seen in these youth. Now they are being given posts like spokesperson at the state and central level.

Where did the appointments take place?

Congress has formed state media bodies in Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. A statement has been issued saying that these teams have been formed after the National Talent Hunt Programme. Senior State Spokesperson, State Spokesperson, State Media Panelist, State Research Coordinator and State Publicity Coordinator have been appointed for this program.

 

Himachal Pradesh: In Himachal Pradesh, five MLAs have been made state senior spokespersons, 28 leaders have been made state spokespersons, 11 people have been made state media panelists, 11 people have been made state research coordinators and 9 people have been made state publicity coordinators. In this way, a team of total 64 people has been prepared in Himachal Pradesh alone.

Uttar Pradesh: A similar team has also been formed in Uttar Pradesh. In Uttar Pradesh, two leaders have been made vice chairpersons, 6 people have been made regional coordinators, 45 people have been made state spokespersons, 21 people have been made state media panelists, 7 people have been made district spokespersons, Hilal Naqvi has been made research head, 11 people have been made state researchers and 11 people have been made state publicity coordinators. In this way, a total team of 104 people has been formed in UP.

Among the six regional coordinators who have been appointed in Uttar Pradesh, Brahmins, Dalits and OBCs have been given a chance. Many Muslim, Dalit, Brahmin and OBC faces have been given a chance in the list of spokespersons.

 

Goa: Keeping in mind the assembly elections in Goa, one National Media Coordinator and 3 Coordinators have been appointed.

Elections are being considered as the reason for haste in these appointments in Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.
