Amazing dining discounts

The campaign is based on the line “Discount Followssss My Brothaaaar”, one of Ravikishan's most viral dialogues, and connects the internet's favorite trend directly to GIRF's core promise: awesome dining discounts. This edition of GIRF will continue from September 14, 2026 to October 24, 2026.

Up to 50% off at over 57,000+ restaurants

Customers can avail up to 50% off at over 57,000+ restaurants across 84+ cities across India, including a variety of cafes, pubs, bars, luxury dining and family restaurants. Diners can also avail an additional 10% instant discount on all HDFC Bank Cards, as well as 10% back as DineCash on every booking made through DineOut.

This response from Swiggy Dinout

GIRF's rebranding is much bigger than just being part of branding. This is Swiggy Dinout's response to a cultural phenomenon that is happening online. Ravikishan, a familiar name in Indian cinema for decades, has recently been trending on social media, where remixes of his dialogues, gestures and style are being widely shared by a large generation of internet users. Swiggy Dineout not only capitalized on this trend, but built an entire festival around it.

Ravikishan is the face of the entire festival

As part of this campaign, Ravikishan has gone beyond the role of a traditional brand ambassador to become the face, voice and personality of the entire festival. The main campaign film portrays him as a great personality, a life-enlightening philosopher in his own style, and interweaves popular internet favorite references like “early the late” and “home from work” with his fan-favorite content in a style that perfectly matches the world of dining out.

'Great Indian Ravi Festival'

Speaking about GIRF, Dhruvish Thakkar, AVP Marketing & Revenue, Swiggy Dineout said, “GIRF is one of the biggest dining movements in India and every year we aim to meet consumers where they are. We have partnered with trending personalities and internet icons for GIRF over the years. This time, we have gone a step further by renaming GIRF the 'Great Indian Ravi Festival'. Ravikishans are not just the buzz right now — they are a trend in themselves and have been trending on social media for a few weeks! So instead of just riding that wave, we decided to build the entire festival around them, which we hope will appeal to a larger audience, because the discount really does follow.
