It is said in Rigveda that one should not eat alone, but should eat food by distributing it among others. In this connection, it is said in Rig Veda that if a person eats alone, he eats only sin. It is with this feeling that the feeling of distributing Prasad has come. For this reason, before eating the Prasad, a person distributes it among others.
