Kangana replied to the trollers
Kangana supported Maithili on her Instagram story, saying that being a leader does not mean that she should give up her personal life and privileges. He raised the question that if a leader works for the public, then why can’t he have his own career and personal life as well. Kangana said that it is not right to expect leaders to always remain poor and without facilities. He wrote, “Why can’t we live a good life?”
Why was there controversy regarding the car?
Maithili had come to visit Lalbaugcha Raja on 15 September. During this time she was seen in a blue Rolls-Royce. After the video of the car surfaced, discussion started on social media. Some people questioned how Maithili was seen in such an expensive car within almost a year of entering politics. In media reports, the price of this car in Mumbai is said to be more than Rs 13 crore.
However, it has not been confirmed whether the Rolls-Royce seen in the video is Maithili’s own car. There is no mention of Rolls-Royce even in his 2025 election manifesto.
Maithili was a singer before politics
Maithili Thakur had already made a name for herself in the world of music even before entering politics. She has taken training in classical and folk music and has been singing Maithili, Bhojpuri and devotional songs. His recognition further increased after appearing in the singing reality show ‘Rising Star India’ in 2017. After this, many people liked his songs on YouTube and social media also.
Become MLA in 2025
Maithili had contested the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections from Alinagar seat on BJP ticket. She defeated RJD’s Binod Mishra by 11,730 votes and became the youngest member of the Bihar Assembly. According to his election information, he had declared total assets worth around Rs 3.82 crore.
