BMW Naked Street Fighter : The world's luxury vehicle manufacturer BMW launched its adventure bike F 450 GS in April this year. Now the company is going to strengthen its portfolio of entry-level bikes even further.

Teaser released
BMW has released a teaser on social media to launch a new motorcycle on October 1, 2026. It is believed that this new model can be a great 'roadster' bike based on the same platform as the F 450 GS. BMW Motorrad has teased a new naked streetfighter bike based on its 450 platform.
Performance-Naked Segment
This will be the second motorcycle to be built on the F 450 GS architecture. This is important for those looking for a bike in the performance-naked segment under Rs 5 lakh as BMW is now entering a segment that is currently dominated by the KTM 390 Duke R and Aprilia Tuono 457.
premium option
It will give buyers a third premium option which is not a rebadge of an existing model, but is based on completely new engineering. This bike may be named F 450 R and is expected to be placed below the GS in BMW's lineup in India.
Engines and Hardware
The F 450 R is expected to use the same 420cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine as the F 450 GS, which currently produces 48hp at 8,750rpm and 43Nm of power and torque at 6,750rpm. However, BMW may re-tune it a bit for road-based performance rather than adventure-touring. It is expected to get 17-inch wheels and disc brakes on both sides, as well as the electronics suite from the GS (which includes multiple riding modes and traction control) and a TFT display.
