Amazfit T-Rex Dual Solar— Amazfit has introduced its new rugged smartwatch Amazfit T-Rex Dual Solar in the tech market. This watch has been specially designed keeping in mind long distance adventures and outdoor activities. It has solar panels on both the front and rear, due to which its battery life can extend up to 51 days without charging.

3,000 nits brightness and sturdy body

The Amazfit T-Rex Dual Solar comes with a 1.32-inch AMOLED display that supports 466×466 pixels resolution and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness. The screen will be clearly visible even in bright sunlight. To protect the screen, sapphire glass has been installed on it. Talking about build quality, Grade 5 titanium bezel, titanium buttons and glass-ceramic panel on the rear side have been used in the watch. It also has an in-built flashlight with white and red light for use at night or in the dark.

Advanced navigation and diving support

For navigation, it has support for dual-band GPS and six satellite positioning systems. The watch includes preloaded color maps, turn-by-turn navigation, waypoint navigation, and downloadable ski resort maps. In this, a color-coded elevation profile is visible through the Navigation Gradient Curve. This watch comes with 10 ATM water resistance and supports recreational diving up to 50 meters.

Health tracking and smart features

For health features, it has been provided with heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), stress, skin temperature, sleep, and heart rate variability (HRV) tracking. This smartwatch supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 2.4GHz. The watch has a microphone and speaker, through which Bluetooth calling can be made. It runs on Zepp OS and syncs with Strava, TrainingPeaks, Runna and Google Fit.

Price and availability

The price of Amazfit T-Rex Dual Solar has been kept at $649.99 (approximately Rs 62,300). It is available for sale in the US market on Amazfit's official website and Amazon. The company has not yet issued any official statement regarding its launch and availability in the Indian market.
