Mirzapur: Niranjan's son Govind Das, resident of Devhat village of Drummondganj police station area, has given a written complaint in Drummondganj police station alleging fraud in the land deed and demanding action. According to the application given to the police station head, the applicant belongs to the caste group and has been declared a co-accountant with his uncles Shyamlal, Vijayshankar, Ramesh and Rakesh etc. in Araji number 388 area 0.1400 hectare and Araji number 461A area 0.2000 hectare and 462 area 0.3300 hectare land in village Devhat.
The complainant says that no legal distribution of the said land had taken place till now. It is alleged that on September 19, 2026, Kamta Prasad, son of Bau Yadav alias Purushottam Yadav of the same village, allegedly made the applicant drink liquor and took him to Tehsil Lalganj in an intoxicated state and got the deed of his land share done. It has been alleged in the complaint that in the deed, the resident of Kheri village of Koraon tehsil area of Prayagraj district
The land was registered in the name of Anshuman Singh son of Chandrabhan Singh and outsiders were included as witnesses. The applicant alleged that he did not have actual knowledge of the deed and what was recorded in the boundary and other details of his share of land. The complaint further states that the people allegedly involved in the land deal recorded the transfer of money into the applicant's account in the deed of conveyance, whereas the applicant alleges that he was not aware of the actual value of the land and the entire process of deed of land.
The victim also alleged that some people conspired together, threatened him by making him sit in the vehicle and allegedly forced him to give a statement by applying pressure. In the complaint, names of Shivshankar Vishwakarma son of Mithai Lal, Bhayaji son of Jhullar Ansari, Dhirendra Patel, Suresh Bind son of Chhote Lal Bind and others have also been registered in connection with the allegations. The applicant says that injustice has been done to him by getting the valuable roadside land deeded at a low price through alleged fraud. The victim reported the entire matter to the Drummondganj police station.
After investigation, a case has been registered against the people involved in getting the deed of sale under relevant sections including fraud and a demand has been made to provide justice. The complaint is dated 22 September 2026. Now, only after the police investigation, it will be clear how much truth is there in the allegations made and under what circumstances the process of land transfer was completed.
