New Delhi: The Central Government has transferred many senior officers. Senior bureaucrat Mandeep K. Bhandari has been made the chairperson of CBSE. Bureaucrat Mandeep Bhandari was appointed chairperson of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) following an administrative reshuffle by the central government on Friday.
Ankita Mishra Bundela has been appointed Additional Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education. For this, a vacant post of Joint Secretary in the department has been temporarily upgraded. Manisha Sensharma has been appointed Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

Meanwhile, senior IAS officer Vipin Kumar has been made Additional Secretary in the Rural Development Department of the Ministry of Rural Development. He was currently holding the responsibility of Chairman of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) under the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Srikanth Nagulapalli, currently Director General of Hydrocarbons in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has been made Additional Secretary in the Department of Expenditure in the Finance Ministry. Sarita Chauhan has been made Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Steel.
Anand Singh has been made Additional Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs of the Finance Ministry. P. Hemalatha has been made Additional Secretary in the Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions. For this, a vacant post of Joint Secretary in the department has been temporarily upgraded. V. Ponnuraj has been made the Director General of Hydrocarbons in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. He will get the rank and salary of Additional Secretary in the Government of India. He replaces Srikanth Nagulapalli, who has been appointed Additional Secretary in the Department of Expenditure in the Finance Ministry. Piyush Singh has been made Mission Director, National Water Mission in the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti; He will get the rank and salary of Additional Secretary in the Government of India.

Mandeep Bhandari, born on December 14, 1974, is a 2001 batch IAS officer and is currently serving as the Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu from March 6, 2023.
