Sitarganj. 'Aangan Milan' program was organized enthusiastically under the year 2026 at the Anganwadi center located at Cheekaghat. A large number of villagers, women and beneficiaries participated in the program. The objective of the program was to provide information about various government and public welfare schemes run through Anganwadi centers to the people of rural areas and to connect eligible beneficiaries with these schemes.
Sachin Gangwar participated in the program as the chief guest, while village head Harendra Singh was present as the special guest. The guests were welcomed by Anganwadi workers and villagers. During the program, chief guest Sachin Gangwar interacted directly with the beneficiaries and villagers present at the center and took information about their problems and needs.
Sachin Gangwar said that various schemes are being run by the government for women, children and needy families. Anganwadi centers play an important role in extending the benefits of these schemes to the eligible people. He appealed to the villagers to complete the necessary documents and other formalities on time to avail the benefits of the schemes. Apart from applying as per eligibility, get information about the schemes and avail maximum benefits from them.
He said that many times due to lack of information, eligible families are deprived of taking benefits of government schemes. In such a situation, Anganwadi centers act as an important link between the villagers and departmental schemes. Villagers were also called upon to provide information about the schemes to the eligible families around them.
Village head Harendra Singh also appealed to the villagers to cooperate in the activities of the Anganwadi centre. He said that collective efforts are necessary to extend the benefits of schemes related to children and women to the eligible families. During the program the villagers also expressed their views and received information related to various schemes.
Anganwadi worker Godavari, assistant Sumitra Devi and other supporting women played an important role in making the 'Aangan Milan' program successful. The workers provided information related to the schemes to the beneficiaries who came to the program and also informed them about the necessary procedures.
On this occasion, a large number of villagers including Lakshmi Rajput, BJP Lakshmi, ANM Rajni, Asha worker Dhuma Devi, Yoga teacher were present. Special enthusiasm was seen among women and villagers during the program. The organizers stressed on connecting and making the villagers aware of government schemes through such programs in future also.
