News Desk. In view of the increasing population and residential needs in Prayagraj, Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) has started preparations to develop a new township in Gangapar. It is planned to be developed on more than 100 hectares of land between Malak Harhar and Shivgarh in Malaka area. Since the proposed area is close to Ganga Expressway and National Highway, the transportation facilities here are expected to be better.
Search for land in more than 15 villages
The work of finding land for the township has started. For this, farmers of more than 15 villages of Soraon tehsil have been contacted. The authority team will soon survey the potential land. The survey will examine the area, availability and standards of land required for the township. After this, the process related to land acquisition can be taken forward.
Wide roads and modern facilities
In the proposed township, there is a plan to develop not just residential construction but systematic urban facilities. Here, space will be kept for facilities like wide roads, drinking water, electricity, drainage and green areas. Other civic amenities can also be included in the scheme as per need.
The process will move forward after Aero City
This project is being taken forward under the Chief Minister Expansion Scheme. According to officials, after the development of Aero City, the process of this township across Ganga will be speeded up. Due to its proximity to expressway and highway, there is a possibility of development of market and commercial activities along with residential area in the future.
Let us tell you that the objective of the authority is to develop a township at such a place where housing, roads and other basic facilities can be expanded in a systematic manner as per future needs.
