Yogi government is connecting the skills of Bhadohi with the global market, gifting 112 projects worth Rs 1,340 crore.

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the government is trying to take the traditional skill of Bhadohi to new heights. For this, skills are being linked to development, market and employment opportunities.

The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh's exports have increased 2.27 times in the last 10 years. Now this figure has exceeded Rs 2 lakh crore. Uttar Pradesh has become the fifth largest exporter state of the country.

Yogi Adityanath shared this information on social media platform 'X' on Sunday. He said that Bhadohi's carpet industry has a big role in the increasing exports of the state.

The carpets made by the artisans of Bhadohi are in demand all over the world. Due to this, the traditional skills of the state have got recognition on the global platform.

Will inaugurate India Carpet Expo

The Chief Minister said that he will inaugurate the golden jubilee edition of 'India Carpet Expo'. During this, he will also interact with exporters, sellers and entrepreneurs associated with the carpet industry.

During the program, 112 development projects worth more than Rs 1,340 crore will be handed over to Bhadohi, Aurai and Gyanpur areas.

Respect for the skills of artisans, employment for youth

Yogi said that the priority of the government is to respect the skills of the artisans. Expansion of enterprises is also a priority of the government.

Along with this, new employment opportunities are being created for the youth. The Chief Minister said that a resolution has been taken to give Bhadohi a new identity of prosperity through the confluence of heritage and development.
