He said that the country is moving away from dependence on imported platforms towards developing its own advanced systems and platforms. Today Indian shipbuilding factories are playing an important role in building advanced warships and submarines. The Defense Minister said that India's goal is not only to become self-reliant, but also to become competitive at the global level.
