MPESB has released the recruitment notification for 1000 posts of Constable Driver in Madhya Pradesh Police. Applications will be open from 15 to 29 October 2026, while the recruitment exam will start from 4 January 2027.
Bhopal: There is a recruitment opportunity for the youth preparing for government jobs in the police department in Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MPESB) has announced the recruitment for 1000 posts of Constable Driver. Eligible candidates will be able to apply online from 15 October to 29 October 2026. The recruitment examination will start from 4 January 2027.
1000 posts in MP Police Constable Driver Recruitment 2026
Under the recruitment released by MPESB, a total of 1000 posts of Constable Driver will be filled in Madhya Pradesh Police. These include 200 posts of Constable Driver (Special Forces) and 800 posts of Constable Driver (District Police Force).
The application process for recruitment will be completely online. Candidates must apply within the prescribed deadline. The application will start from 15th October 2026 and the process will end on 29th October 2026. After this, information has been given that the recruitment examination will start from January 4, 2027.
Who can apply?
Candidates from any state of India can apply for this recruitment. The candidate must have passed 10th or 12th examination or its equivalent examination under 10+2 system from a recognized board or institution. Such candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe category, who have passed 8th class, can also apply as per the prescribed conditions.
For the post of Constable Driver, the candidate must have a valid driving license to drive heavy vehicles. Talking about age limit, the age of the candidate should be at least 18 years as on 29 October 2026.
The maximum age of general and EWS category candidates of Madhya Pradesh and other states is fixed at 33 years. Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
Application Fees and Online Form
Candidates will be able to apply online through the official website of MPESB. Applications sent through any other means will not be accepted.
The application fee is fixed at Rs 500 for general candidates. Reserved category candidates of Madhya Pradesh will have to pay a fee of Rs 250. The fee for departmental candidates has been determined separately. The fee has been kept at Rs 200 for departmental candidates of unreserved category and Rs 100 for reserved category.
If you apply through kiosk, you will have to pay an additional portal fee of Rs 60. At the same time, a portal fee of Rs 20 will be charged from the candidates applying by logging in through registered citizen user.
Physical and trade test will be conducted after written examination.
In the recruitment process, first of all the candidates will have to appear in the written examination. Candidates who secure the prescribed cutoff marks will be called for the next stage. After this, physical efficiency test and trade test will be conducted.
The final selection list of the candidates will be prepared based on the performance in all the stages. Selected candidates have been informed that monthly salary will range from Rs 19,500 to Rs 62,000 as per the post.
