Navratri 2026: Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav has given an important message regarding the safety of women on the occasion of Navratri. Linking religious faith and social responsibility, he said that worship of the Goddess is meaningful only when women also get respect and security in real life. Being the father of three daughters, the actor described the topic as very emotional for him.

Questions raised on girl worship and women's safety
Rajpal Yadav mentioned the tradition of Kanya Puja during Navratri through his Instagram story. He raised the question that when small girls are worshiped as goddesses, then why incidents related to women's safety create concern in the society.
The actor said that every father wishes that his daughter fulfills her dreams without any fear, lives life as per her choice and is respected everywhere. According to him, women's safety is not only the responsibility of the family but of the entire society.
