Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a press conference at the Chief Minister’s residence and talked about the political journey and achievements of the Prime Minister. He said that declaring Narendra Modi as the Prime Ministerial candidate in 2014 and forming the government with full majority was an important political development.

A special cabinet meeting was held in Madhya Pradesh on Monday to mark the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public life. After the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed the media at the Chief Minister’s residence. During this, he mentioned the political journey of Prime Minister Modi and the electoral success achieved under his leadership.
The Chief Minister said that Narendra Modi’s political journey is associated with many important achievements. He claimed that every time Modi contested the MLA election, he became the Chief Minister and every time he became an MP, he became the Prime Minister. Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla and Jagdish Deora were also present during the press conference.
Before 2014, there was a period of coalition governments.
Dr. Mohan Yadav said that due to the wave of sympathy in the Lok Sabha elections held after the assassination of Indira Gandhi in 1984, a government with full majority was formed. According to him, after this, such a situation had developed in the country’s politics, in which it was considered difficult to run the government without a coalition.
The Chief Minister said that at that time there was also a perception about the Bharatiya Janata Party that it could not form the government on its own. In such a political environment, declaring Narendra Modi as the direct Prime Ministerial candidate in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections was a big step.
Forming government with absolute majority said to be an important achievement
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that after declaring Narendra Modi as the Prime Ministerial candidate, BJP forming the government with full majority was also an important development. He presented it as a major change in the country’s politics.
